The Cincinnati Bengals lost superstar quarterback Joe Burrow during last night's game against the Baltimore Ravens after he suffered a wrist injury, and now, the worst has been confirmed.
According to a report from ESPN's Adam Schefter just minutes ago, Burrow will miss the remainder of the season thanks to his injury.
“The play before it happened, I landed on the wrist a little bit, and the next play, the touchdown pass, just felt a pop in the middle of the throw,” Burrow said on Friday, according to the NFL. “Tried to give it a go but just couldn’t get it done, and obviously got the news today, so not great.”
“It’s tough,” Burrow said during the Friday presser. “You work so hard for seasons and moments like these so whenever you get hurt and it ends it early, it’s tough to handle. But that’s part of the game, been through it before. Gotta grind it out.”
