The Steelers may be poised to add another explosive playmaker to an offense already brimming with talent.
The Pittsburgh Steelers' injured tight end Ladarius Green has expressed optimism he'll be able to return to action when eligible in Week 7. He is currently on the team's physically unable to perform list while he recovers from offseason ankle surgery.
Reports surfaced his offseason that suggested Green's absence was due to headaches stemming from his history of concussions. It is reassuring to hear that it is in fact his ankle that has been holding him back.
The 26-year old missed all of training camp after signing a four-year, $20-million deal in the offseason.
Green returning for Pittsburgh's Oct. 23 matchup with the New England Patriots would be a boost to an already potent passing attack.
