Demarcus Ware's fractured ulna could keep him out for some considerable time. The Broncos defensive captain got injured by teammate Von Miller's helmet when the two shared a sack on Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts.
According to Mike Klis of 9News, Ware is sure to miss the Broncos next 3 games and could miss up to 6 weeks of play in total.
Ware commented on his own injury Sunday night:
"I got it from [Von Miller's] helmet on that sack we shared," said Ware, via Klis. "We need to take more X-rays [Monday] morning to make sure it didn’t break clean through."
Ware had a tackle in the game before leaving.
He missed five games last season due to a back injury. The veteran still managed to collect 7,5 sacks on the Broncos way to a Super Bowl victory.
