Jerry Jones' heartbreaking reaction to playoff loss
The Cowboys suffered a humiliating loss.

The season for the Dallas Cowboys is over in stunning fashion, having dropped an embarrassing game yesterday at home to the visiting Green Bay Packers. Once again, the Cowboys are forced to go home early, and they'll have to wait yet another year to bring back the elusive Super Bowl that has eluded them since their dynasty days of the mid-1990s.
For team owner and general manager Jerry Jones, he's in a state of disbelief - especially after the successful 12-5 record during the regular season.
"This seems like the most painful (playoff loss) because we all had such great expectations and had hope for this team," Jones said. "I'm floored. This is beyond my comprehension."
"Didn't see that coming at all," Jones said. "If you had told me (before the game) that we had scored 32 points, I would have thought we had won."
As far as the future of head coach Mike McCarthy is concerned, Jones said that he's not thought that far ahead.
"I haven't reflected at all on anything about the coaching or any of that," he said. "I'm amazed that we are sitting here without another game this upcoming weekend. I don't have any comments or questions or answers for how and why we didn't do what we wanted tonight.
"What I'm zeroed in on is the fact that I thought we were in a position to advance this thing in the playoffs and maybe get as far as our dreams might take us. We didn't do it. I don't have any thoughts on the reasons why, or anything to do with the coaching or players."
Either way, you have to expect that big changes are coming the Cowboys' way after yet another abysmal failure in the postseason.
