Jerry Jones set to testify in billion-dollar lawsuit trial
A major development for Jones and the rest of the NFL.
In the wake of angry customers of NFL Sunday Ticket having sued the NFL for alleged violations of Antitrust laws, two high profile figures are set to take the stand - including the most notable owner in the NFL.
Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones along with commissioner Roger Goodell are scheduled to testify in the trial of the lawsuit that was filed in 2015, and could result in the NFL owing billions in damages.
“NFL, Fox, CBS and DirecTV agreed to make an expensive toll road that very few people would be able to afford. Every single competitor in this scheme benefited,” Amanda Bonn, an attorney who represents Sunday Ticket subscribers, indicated in her opening remarks late last week.
