Jimmy Garoppolo officially has a new home.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, now-former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo has agreed to three-year, $67.5 million deal, including $34 million guaranteed, with the Las Vegas Raiders.
He's now been reunited with head coach Josh McDaniels, who served as defensive coordinator while the two were members of the New England Patriots. He first made his way to the Bay Area in 2017 after having initially been viewed as the heir-apparent to Tom Brady in New England, agreeing to a five-year, $137.5 million deal that with the 49ers that briefly made him the highest paid player in the NFL.
He went 42-19 while racking up 13,599 yards with 82 touchdowns and 42 interceptions during his years with the 49ers. However, he's been repeatedly hampered by injury trouble.
