Julius Peppers continued to write his name in the record books today.

The Green Bay Packers' veteran linebacker passed Hall of Famer Michael Strahan for fifth on the all-time sack list during Sunday's game against theHouston Texans.

Peppers took down Texans' quarterback Brock Osweiler late in the second half, bringing his season total to 6.5 and his career total to 142.5, taking sole possession of fifth place all-time.

There are now only four men ahead of Peppers in the all-time sack column, Bruce Smith, Reggie White, Kevin Greene, and Chris Doleman, all Hall of Famers.

Peppers still has some gas left in the tank, and will join them in Canton once his illustrious career comes to an end.
