Justin Fields blocked trades to multiple teams!
He wanted to be a Steeler!

It's going to be a vastly different look at quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2024, as general manager Omar Khan has completely revamped the position.
Coming in are Russell Wilson and Justin Fields, the latter of whom was acquired last week from the Chicago Bears in an eyebrow-raising trade. The former was signed by the Steelers after he was released by the Denver Broncos after two disastrous years with the team, and you can bet that he's going to be greatly motivated to reverse his downward trend.
Meanwhile, Kenny Pickett was traded to the Philadelphia Eagles, while Mitchell Trubisky and Mason Rudolph are both former Steelers in their own right as they are now on new teams.
And according to NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport, Fields actually blocked four different trades that would have sent him elsewhere, as he wanted to play for Pittsburgh. He wrote the following on his X (formerly known as Twitter) account:
"Important note on the Justin Fields trade: At least four additional teams inquired about trading for Fields, but Fields’ representation asked for him not to be traded there. He wanted the #Steelers, and the #Bears did right by him."
However, the four teams that he nearly landed with were not specified.
