Kenny Pickett rips teammates after latest Steelers loss
He's not mincing words.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are once again left picking up the pieces after their latest loss, this time to their in-state rival Philadelphia Eagles. The Steelers managed only 13 points on the afternoon, once again calling into question the status of maligned offensive coordinator Matt Canada.
Quarterback Kenny Pickett, who made the start after leaving last week's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after being placed in concussion protocol, made his thoughts perfectly clear following the latest setback - and he's understandably frustrated.
"Guys need to know what they’re doing, we need to study more," he vented. "I don’t think we study enough as a group. There’s way too many penalties, which we can control. It’s all mental. There’s really no excuse for that to happen.”
"Something's gotta change right? It's insane to keep doing the same thing over and over again and expect something different," he continued.
Pittsburgh's defense didn't have their best showing either, as Eagles QB Jalen Hurts tossed a career-high four touchdown passes. Meanwhile, Pickett finished 25 of 38 for 191 yards and an interception. Their only touchdown was a trick play courtesy of Chase Claypool to fullback Derek Watt.
The Steelers will next be in action two weeks from now when they host the New Orleans Saints.
