The Green Bay Packers will shorthanded on Sunday against a division rival.
Packers' cornerback Sam Shields has been downgraded to out with a concussion for his team's Sunday night matchup with the Minnesota Vikings after initially being ruled doubtful.
Shields, who has a history of concussions, was placed in concussion protocol after leaving the Packers' Week 1 game against the Arizona Cardinals.
The Packers were expecting Shields to start and play the majority of snaps at cornerback opposite Damarious Randall.
Second-year pro Quinten Rollins is expected to take on Shields' role this week against the Vikings.
