The Denver Broncos are in a bit of a strange position with quarterback Mark Sanchez and while they have a number of options in front of them head coach Gary Kubiak has not been willing to reveal which way the Broncos will go with the veteran QB. On Tuesday Kubiak once again dodged the question.
“I’m not going to go into that,” coach Gary Kubiak said as per Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio. “We have to put our team together by Friday, Saturday basically for us. You never know what’s going to happen. Like I’ve said, Mark has done a great job. We can count on him. He’s preparing. He’s been great as a person and a teammate. That’s all you can ask. We’ll see.”
There have been rumors of a trade to Dallas, although the Cowboys aren't willing to take on Sanchez's full salary, and today's brutal injury to Teddy Bridgwater could leave the door open for a trade to Minnesota as well.
The problem of course is that the Broncos need Sanchez to take some snaps in the final preseason game, but by putting him in the Broncos are risking a potential injury to Sanchez, one that would lock him into their roster.
