Ladarius Green is officially the Steelers new tight end.
The team officially announced that Green signed a four-year deal. PFT confirmed that it’s a $20 million deal that includes a
$4.5 million signing bonus. Green will make $1.25 million in base salary in 2016, $5 million in 2017, and $4.5 million in 2018 and 2019.
Green, 25, figures to play a key role in the Steelers’ high-powered offense following the retirement of tight end Heath Miller.
Green is coming off a career-best season in San Diego with 429 yards and four touchdowns. He appeared in 47 games for San Diego over the last four seasons and totaled 77 catches for 1,087 yards and seven touchdowns.
Congratulations and welcome to the Steelers!
