Eddie Lacy was the main topic of of conversation on the opening day of the Green Bay Packers' OTA's.
The Packers' running back was present during practices on Tuesday, and his somewhat slimmer frame was of interest to everyone in attendance.
It was well documented that Lacy was not in sufficient shape during the 2015 NFL season, and his performance was less than stellar as a result. He was spelled by backup running back James Starks for the majority of the season, only one year removed from an 1,100 yard rushing season.
McCarthy stated after the season that Lacy needed to get back to game shape in the offseason, and Lacy responded in kind. He connected with P90X creator Tony Horton and pictures of Lacy indicated that he lost a significant amount of weight this offseason.
"I know the people around Eddie Lacy really feel like the Packers are going to be happy with what they see when Lacy reports for the offseason program next week", said NFL Media's Albert Breer last week.
