Le'Veon Bell won't return to football this season

He announced a career change.

The world of boxing is now a very good platform for non-boxing athletes to fight against each others while it's not permitted on the field. These athletes are often not well prepared for that kind of fighting, but they want put a show on. A lot of money is involved most of the time and people love to watch their favorite athlete in the ring. 

Future Hall of Fame RB Adrian Peterson and current Tampa Bay Buccaneers RB Le'Veon Bell are set to fight in a boxing event at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on July 30. Bell, who is 30 years old, was looking for an opponent for a while since he announced that he wanted to return to boxing. Peterson answered the call and will step on the ring at 37 years old. 

While this fight could be the worst idea possible due to the possibility of brain injuries, Bell still wants to show the world that he is better than what everybody thinks.

According to Ari Meirov, NFL reporter, Le'Veon Bell also announced that he is quitting football to start a boxing career. He also declared that it couldn't be a better opponent that "Purple Jesus" to start his career. 

Bell is still looking for his first championship despite having played eight NFL seasons so far. 

In the other corner, Peterson is heading into his 16th season. While he's still without a contract for the upcoming season, he declared that he wants to end his career with the Minnesota Vikings.

He's excited to fight Bell in two weeks.
