The Denver Broncos got some encouraging news on Demaryius Thomas today.
Broncos' head coach Gary Kubiak told Denver Sports 760 on Monday that he fully expects the star wideout to practice as of Wednesday. Multiple reports surfaced on Sunday indicating that Thomas has suffered a hip injury that could keep him out of action for some time. It appears that after a second opinion, Thomas is not in any serious danger of missing game action.
Thomas was in attendance at Monday's team workout, but did not take part in any drills. Still, his presence at practice would suggest the ailment is a minor one.
Thomas managed four receptions for 48 yards during Thursday's win over the Carolina Panthers, and remained in the game even after suffering the injury.
