Is the veteran coming back for more?

The Pittsburgh Steelers certainly weren't aided by the fact that quarterback Kenny Pickett was injured this season and subsequently missed significant time, including the Steelers' lone playoff game, a loss against the Buffalo Bills to send them to another early offseason.
As far as the future of quarterback Mason Rudolph is concerned, he's disclosed that the Steelers appear intent on bringing him back despite his upcoming status as a free agent.
He said that he's visited with both head coach Mike Tomlin and general manager Omar Khan, both of whom said they'd like him to return to the Steelers next season.
“[I] visited with Mike T and Omar [Khan] both,” Rudolph said on The Ramon Foster Show. “I felt like they meant it when they said they’d like to have me back, and I feel like they want to do future business with me. That’s good to hear. But, like you said, there are so many variables and it’s still so early...”
Rudolph threw for 719 total yards along with three touchdowns, averaging 9.7 yards per pass.
