Matt Canada angers Steelers fans with Week 5 plan
This surely will end well.

This probably won't go over very well with the Pittsburgh Steelers fan base, whose patience is already wearing extremely thin with their team's 1-3 start to the 2022 season so far that's been marked by horribly inconsistent offensive showings.
Of course, head coach Mike Tomlin finally relented and replaced the struggling starting Mitchell Trubisky with 1st round draft selection Kenny Pickett, who enjoyed a productive afternoon against the New York Jets after tossing an interception on his 1st career pass.
And offensive coordinator Matt Canada is certainly feeling the heat from fans and pundits alike, and has even surfaced in rumors that his own team wants to see him given a pink slip. But for the fans who are hoping to see an updated offensive scheme for this Sunday's matchup against the powerful Buffalo Bills, don't expect it.
According to Canada, there won't be "a drastic difference" in his play calling for Week 5.
“I don’t think we saw a huge difference in the plays in the second half [against the Jets] when Kenny was in there as far as the play calls. I don’t think you’re going to see a drastic difference. We all have to be better. We gotta score more points. It was disappointing last week.”
“We try to do what guys like to do, but we’re going to focus on what everyone does well we hope," he continued. "That might be tweaks here, a route that Mitch liked and Kenny likes different[ly], but big picture it’s going to be the same things. We just have to execute better and play better all the way around.”
The Steelers and Bills kick off from Highmark Stadium at 1:00 PM EST on Sunday.
