A member of the New York Giants claims that he goaded Cowboys defensive superstar Micah Parsons into taking an unsportsmanlike penalty, and now Parsons himself is responding.
Giants offensive lineman Nick Gates said that he goaded Parsons into punching him with words, and though the television networks didn't show the infraction, Parsons was in fact assessed a 15 yard penalty that would eventually lead to a Giants touchdown.
"He’ll get (fined),'' Gates said after the game. "He must not like his money."
“I told him, ‘Come on, I know you want to (punch me).’ He took me up on it...I'm not the best football player, so I've got to do other things to help out the team.''
