"We’re going to Washington to win. We’re going to the playoffs. We’re aware of what people think of us, but we’re excited to compete," said McCarthy.
"I don’t really care what people think of us," he added.

Mike McCarthy didn't mince words about his team's performance at the end of the season.
The Green Bay Packers had the opportunity to take the division title against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 17, but instead lost 20-13 at Lambeau Field. This was the first time the Packers haven't won a game at Lambeau since 1968. The Pack' are a Wild Card team at 10-6, after starting the season 6-0 and losing six of their last 10 games, head coach Mike McCarthy said the Packers did not deserve to win the division:
McCarthy: We didn't deserve to win the division. You can't turn the ball over and do the things we did the last couple of weeks.

Despite this, McCarthy maintains his team's confidence is "high" ahead of Sunday's wild-card matchup against the Washington Redskins.
"We’re going to Washington to win. We’re going to the playoffs. We’re aware of what people think of us, but we’re excited to compete," said McCarthy.
"I don’t really care what people think of us," he added.
