Green Bay Packers head coach Mike McCarthy will not attend this week's Pro Bowl due to a stomach illness, the team announced Wednesday.
Associate head coach/linebackers coach Winston Moss will step in as head coach on the Packers' staff in his absence.
Along with the Kansas City Chiefs, Green Bay's coaching staff was one of two tabbed to lead the teams that will take the field Sunday afternoon in Hawaii.
The Packers made their seventh consecutive playoff appearance under McCarthy's watch this season before an overtime loss to the Arizona Cardinals in the divisional round.
