Mike Tomlin's future with Pittsburgh Steelers leaked
Will this prediction hold true?

Despite the fact that the Pittsburgh Steelers missed the postseason for the first time in three years, good news for longtime head coach Mike Tomlin is that he can once again hang his hat on the fact that he led his team to a winning season at 9-8 overall while overcoming a poor start that was marred with injury woes.
That's 19 straight years where they've enjoyed a record at the .500 mark or better.
And as far as his future with the only NFL team that he's ever coached, it sounds as though that's going to be taken care of in short order.
Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reporter Ray Fittipaldo recently stated during an interview on 93.7 The Fan that he's confident a new deal will be getting done, and potentially as soon as this summer.
"This is the way that it usually happens. There are different timeframes when it has happened in the past. …There is everything to suggest that Art Rooney is happy with Mike Tomlin, that he likes the direction of this young team. I would imagine it happens at some point before the start of the season,” Fittipaldo said. "Am I 100 percent certain it’s going to happen? No, but I think all signs do point to that happening again this year."
Tomlin last signed an extension in 2021, and his current deal is up in 2024.
Will they be wise to potentially keeping him around beyond that?
