Fans are getting antsy about Dallas Cowboys tackle Tyron Smith's groin injury, and it's still not looking good.

"It doesn't sound like Sean Lee or Tyron Smith will be available for Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles," wrote the Dallas Morning News on Wednesday.

Cowboys coach Jason Garrett said Monday that Lee is day to day but then added "it might be some time" before the Pro Bowl linebacker returns after injuring his hamstring in the first quarter Sunday in Atlanta.

The Cowboys are entering a stretch where they will play three games in 12 days. It's unlikely that Lee will play in any of those three.

Tyron Smith worked out Monday morning at The Star. Garrett said the All-Pro left tackle is day to day with groin and back injuries but added that Smith is not expected to practice Wednesday.

"Hopefully as the week goes on he gets healthier and healthier and gets on the practice field," Garrett said.

If Smith misses his second consecutive game, look for Byron Bell to start at left tackle. Chaz Green got the start in Atlanta but was pulled in the fourth quarter after allowing five sacks.
