It appears that Johnny Manziel's days in Cleveland are officially numbered.
After the Cleveland Browns completed a deal to make Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator Hue Jackson their new head coach, it would appear they will allow Jackson to make big time roster changes. Changes that will include Johnny Manziel.
According to Mike Garafolo of FoxSports1, sources close t the situation told him that "Hue made it clear he'd want to move on from Johnny."
Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com reported that Jackson does not want to stake his job and reputation on Manziel.
If Manziel is cut, it would mark yet another draft bust for the Browns. Manziel has completed 147-of-258 passes for 1,675 yards, seven touchdowns and seven interceptions during his time with the Browns. He has also rushed 46 times for 259 yards, one touchdown and seven fumbles.
Following his rookie season, he spent some time in rehab. During the 2015 season, he found himself in hot water with the Browns organization when video of Manziel partying during the team's bye week surfaced. Manziel was demoted to third string for lying to team officials about the situation.
The Browns will have the No.2 pick in the upcoming draft, and no one would be surprised if they chose a their 'quarterback of the future' with that selection.
Manziel seems to want to be picked up by the Dallas Cowboys, but could also benefit from sitting behind established quarterbacks for development.
Where do you believe Manziel will end up?
