's days in Denver are no more.
The Broncos pulled the plug on the third-year offensive tackle Friday morning, trading him to the Atlanta Falcons in exchange for a 2018 fifth-round draft pick, the team confirmed on Friday.
Per 247 Sports, "the writing was on the wall for Sambrailo, 25, who's been largely ineffective since Denver made him a second-round selection in 2015. He's dealt with injuries the past two years and lost the starting left tackle job this season to rookie."
"They'll move forward withas the backup to Bolles and right tackle ."
The Falcons have been looking for a reliable swing tackle for most of the summer, noted 247 Sports. The leader in the current rotation seems to be, who the team signed from Cleveland last month.
That Atlanta was willing to surrender this draft pick indicates the value they’ve placed on this position going forward.
