Former Dallas Cowboys' running back Joseph Randle is in even worse trouble than originally thought.
Randle appeared Sedgwick County District Court on Wednesday on three counts of aggravated battery, and one count of drug possession on Wednesday according to TMZ Sports.
According to KAKE News, Randle admitted that he could not afford a lawyer or post $100,000 bail after being arrested in Kansas on Sunday.
This is Randle's fifth arrest in the last 18 months.
He was, according to the Associated Press (via ESPN.com), arrested just weeks after his release from the team after he was involved in a physical incident at a Wichita casino. As per TMZ Sports, Randle was then arrested again on Feb. 1 after the family of his ex-girlfriend called the police and reported him for trying to stay at their home. He was arrested outside in his car, and TMZ reported that Randle told officers from the Irving Police Department, "This is the end of my career."
Randle has earned over $1.3 million in his NFL career as per Spotrac, and for him to be unable to afford a lawyer at this point points to some serious mismanagement.
It's certainly not looking good for his NFL career if this is the case.
