Can you imagine Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott suiting up for any other franchise?
According to NFL analyst Rich Eisen, the Pittsburgh Steelers could prove to be an intriguing possibility for him after this season, considering the fact that there has been no progress on a new contract and that he'll likely be playing out this season on the final year of his deal.
Eisen had the following to say:
“What happens if the guy they went ahead and have given the job to with pole position doesn’t work out? What if they get a look at Justin Fields all year and say he’s not the guy?” Eisen said. “Maybe the Steelers are all in. Right now their offense costs nothing. I don’t even think it’s [$]15 million. They’ll have enough money to give Dak a multiple of that. I think the Steelers might be in on Dak and let him finish his career in Pittsburgh.”
Of course, this season the Steelers are featuring Russell Wilson and Justin Fields under center as part of a completely revamped look at the quarterback position following the trade of Kenny Pickett.
But can you imagine Prescott suiting up for the black and yellow?
