NFL releases Calendar of Important Dates for 2017

​The National Football League has released the official calendar of important dates for 2017-2018.

The National Football League has released the official calendar of important dates for 2017-2018, which you can browse for yourself here:

Highlights include the upcoming and amended franchise-tag signing deadline, on July 17, an important date for QB Kirk Cousins and the Washington Redskins, RB Le'Veon Bell and the Pittsburgh Steelers, and CB Trumaine Johnson and the Rams, who are all still negotiating possible extensions.

The 2017 Hall of Fame Game marks the beginning of the preseason on Thursday, August 3rd and all 53-man rosters must be set by 1:00 p.m. PT on September 2nd.

The regular season begins Thursday September 7, and the weekend of September 10-11

The NFL's London Series begins with a  between the Baltimore Ravens and the Jacksonville Jaguars will be played at Wembley Stadium on September 24th. The next game in the London Series is New Orleans Saints vs. Miami Dolphins on October 1st. The Arizona Cardinals vs. Los Angeles Rams, Twickenham Stadium on October 22nd, and the London Series will finish with the Minnesota Vikings vs. Cleveland Browns on October 29th.

The NFL Mexico Series will be played on November 19th between the New England Patriots and Oakland Raiders, at Estadio Azteca. 

The NFL trade deadline will be on October 31st.

December 31st marks Week 17.
