Despite the New York Giants and Dallas Cowboys being two of the most hated rivals in the NFL, one of the Cowboys' best players has decided to show support for one of his peers.

Dallas Cowboys' wide receiver Dez Bryant is known as an intense competitor by his opponents and teammates. Perhaps it is because of this trait that he decided to reach out to Giants' star receiver Odell Beckham Jr., who's recent intensity has royally cost his team.

Oppossing defenses have done a good job of baiting Beckham into penalties due to his penchant for playing the game with his emotions. Following a questionable hit from Xavier Rhodes that caused him to charge the Vikings defender and earn an unsportsmanlike penalty on Monday, Beckham stated he isn't enjoying the game he loves anymore.

"Football is my sanctuary," Beckham said on Tuesday, according to ESPN. "It's where I go to escape. It's where I'm most happy. I'm not having fun anymore."

His 23 yards Monday were the fewest he's recorded in a game in his short career. He's on pace for his worst season, which he's obviously not pleased about.

"What I'm communicating, we're not doing," said Beckham about his opportunities. "I'm not getting the opportunities to contribute, and that's frustrating to me."

Beckham didn't receive much support from quarterback Eli Manning following the loss, as he said his number one receiver has brought the negative attention "on himself, and he's got to realize that."

However, he has support from Bryant, who tweeted this to the beleaguered pass-catcher:
