The Cleveland Browns are officially rid of wide receiver Odelll Beckham Jr., as he's now eligible to sign with any team as a free agent after having cleared waivers on Tuesday.
And now, his next destination appears to have been made. According to multiple reports, he's signing with the Los Angeles Rams:
Quarterback Matthew Stafford now has Beckham Jr., Robert Woods and Cooper Kupp to throw to, and that's scary news for the rest of the NFL.
So far this season, Beckham Jr. had amassed 17 catches for 232 yards and zero touchdowns in six games played. His fate was essentially sealed in Cleveland when he shared an 11 minute video on social media hours before the Trade Deadline showing plays in which QB Baker Mayfield didn't pass him the ball.
The Browns have saved $3 million in cap space; they owe Beckham Jr. $4.25 million.
