When it comes to foot and ankle injuries, the go-to name for treatment in the NFL is Dr. Robert Anderson.
“Dr. Anderson is the best in the business. Every foot-ankle injury conversation that I’ve been a part of as a head coach, his name always comes up, and it’s been that way in my 20-plus years in the National Football League,” Packers Head Coach Mike McCarthy said of Dr. Anderson's reputation.
He's with the Packers now.!
The good doctor has joined Bellin Health Titletown Sports Medicine and Orthopedics at their new 52,000-square-foot facility which is part of the Titletown District on the west side of Lambeau Field. Dr. Anderson will be working with Dr. Pat McKenzie, the Packers' team physician.
Dr. Anderson has more than thirty years of experience as a sports medicine expert. He has been an assistant team physician for the Carolina Panthers for the last 18 years.
“I’m ecstatic about it,” McCarthy confirmed. “I think it’s not only a great thing for the Green Bay Packers, it’s a tremendous asset to our community... Having Dr. Anderson in our community is outstanding. I’m thrilled (for) Bellin and Dr. McKenzie and Dr. Anderson, what they’re developing over here with Titletown Orthopedics.”
Injuries are a fact of life in the NFL, but at least any injured Packer will have their feet in the best of hands.
