Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Lawrence Timmons is hoping he doesn't have to test the market this offseason.

Timmons is slated to become an unrestricted free agent, and has spent his entire 10-year career with the Steelers since being drafted in the first round of the 2007 NFL Draft out of Florida State.

It appears that the 30-year-old will try to strike a new deal with the team before free agency commences.

"I'm die hard Pittsburgh. This is where I want to be," Timmons said via NFL Network's Aditi Kinkhabwala.

Timmons was an integral part of the Steelers' defense, recording 114 tackles, 2.5 sacks, a forced fumble, and two interceptions in 16 games this season.
