Season is just around the corner

The Pittsburgh Steelers have just announced the team captains for the 2022-23 season.

Top honors went to Najee Harris, Cameron Heyward, Miles Killebrew, Mitchell Trubisky and T.J Watt. A team of captains full of youth and experience.

The young rookie Harris had a great season last year. In his first year in the NFL, he rushed for over 1,200 yards and 7 touchdowns. A presence on the team of captains therefore represents a very great sign of confidence from the organization.

Veteran Mitchell Trubisky, who has just joined the Pittsburgh organization, will also have his say. As a former member of the Buffalo Bills and the Chicago Bears, there's a good chance he'll be the starting quarterback next week.

After a banner season, T.J Watt joins this group of leaders. The 27-year-old linebacker showed last season that he will eventually be able to match his brother's level of excellence.
