Pittsburgh Steelers get terrible injury news
In the last preseason game, no less.
Needless to say, this is not what the Pittsburgh Steelers needed right now.
They're in the midst of their final preseason game this afternoon at Acrisure Stadium against the Detroit Lions, and currently enjoy a 16-3 lead early in the third quarter. However, they're down two valuable members of the team who were felled by injury.
First, edge T.J. Watt left the game after suffering a knee injury. To make matters worse, the Steelers then lost wide receiver Diontae Johnson (shoulder). Watt appeared in each of Pittsburgh's first four defensive series; he was replaced by Delontae Scott.
