The name of the quarterback of the Pittsburgh Steelers continues to be a mighty popular name in the state of Pennsylvania.

That's right: Per the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Benjamin is currently the No. 4 most popular baby name in the Keystone State and No. 6 nationally on 2016’s list.

“As you know, Steelers nation is all over the country,” said Elaine Cole, SSA spokeswoman for Pennsylvania. “We’d like to believe Benjamin is far up the ladder because we have Big Ben in Pittsburgh.”

Ben Roethlisburger's first name wasn't the most popular name in Pennsylvania. Those honors go to Emma and Noah.

And he's not the only star athlete in Pittsburgh who's heavily influencing name selection for newborns:

“We’ve certainly seen some Sidneys, both for boys and girls,” cole told the Post-Gazette, referencing Penguins star Sidney Crosby.

The Steelers kickoff their preseason schedule on August 11 at Metlife Stadium against the New York Giants. Their first regular season game will come on September 10 at the Cleveland Browns.
