Ravens sound off on Steelers QB Kenny Pickett
The Steelers and Ravens battled yesterday afternoon.

The Pittsburgh Steelers were hoping for second straight victory this afternoon when they take on the visiting Baltimore Ravens in downtown Pittsburgh. And not surprisingly, it was rookie quarterback Kenny Pickett under center for the host Steelers.
Unfortunately, Pickett would be removed from the game after suffering a concussion and was replaced by Mitch Trubisky. The Steelers managed only a total of 14 points on the afternoon in what would ultimately be their eighth setback of the year.
While there's been plenty of growing pains during his first NFL campaign, he's began demonstrating the qualities of a leader and someone that the team will be able to rely upon moving forward. And his efforts haven't gone unnoticed by the opposition in Baltimore.
Take a look at what Baltimore outside linebacker Tyus Bowser had to say of Pickett prior to yesterday's game:
“He looks great. Definitely a talent," he said. "I watched him when he was at [University of] Pittsburgh, so just to see him now kind of flourish and play his game now, it’s good to see. So, I’m looking forward to this week and playing against him. Hopefully, we can hold him to as much as we can, but he’s a great player, and we’re going to respect him.”
“He’s doing well, looks good. [He’s] a very talented guy, obviously befitting [of] the first-round pick that they took him with this year. That’s our challenge along with that whole offense.”
So far in 2022, Pickett has thrown for 1,797 yards with four touchdowns.
