There were rumors in training camp that the Denver Broncos would be seriously considering using Trevor Siemian this season, perhaps even as a potential starter for the organization, and it seems like he will at least get the opportunity to earn that spot.
Head coach Gary Kubiak announced after Thursday's joint practice that Siemian would be starting the Broncos upcoming preseason game against the San Francisco 49ers on Saturday, giving him the live game reps with the first team offense.
Kubiak admits that he has yet to make a decision on who will start the season for him at quarterback, and while he hopes to make a decision following the game, he would not commit to it.
"Would I like to? Yeah. Will I? I don't know," Kubiak said, smiling. "We'll see."
