Report: Cowboys aren't prioritizing CeeDee Lamb, Micah Parsons extensions

Cowboys fans will be divided over this.

The Dallas Cowboys have several key decisions ahead of them in terms of player personnel, as the likes of Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb, and Micah Parsons are all in need of new contracts.

Right now, Lamb is in the midst of a contract holdout, casting a cloud of doubt over his future with the team. What's more, Prescott is set to enter the upcoming season playing out the final year of his current deal with no extension in sight; the same goes for Parsons.

But in the words of ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, the Cowboys are going to consider a new deal for Prescott their "priority" over both Parsons and Lamb.

“You’ve got Dak Prescott. The Cowboys have a world of problems here financially with three players they have to sign—Micah Parsons, CeeDee Lamb as well—but the feeling around the league and sources I’ve talked to is that they want to start with Dak,” Fowler said, according to Bleacher Report. “They’ve put it on the table with Dak’s people that ‘Hey look, you’re a priority. We want to try to get something done.’ As far as hard dollars, not a lot of progress yet. I would describe their efforts so far as passive.”

Right now, this doesn't exactly bode well for fans hoping to see extensions taken care of in short order for all three key players, and we very well could be seeing some monumental changes to the team if these extensions aren't signed.
