The Dallas Cowboys have a huge matchup ahead of themselves this Monday night, as they'll be rolling into MetLife Stadium to take on the upstart New York Giants, who have rolled out to a 2-0 start so far in 2022.

The Cowboys have more than their fair share of injuries to deal with, as the likes of Dak Prescott, Jayron Kearse, and Connor McGovern are all absent, while Michael Gallup and Micah Parsons are questionable.

Could the Cowboys be looking for help on the defensive side of the ball? According to one notable publication, it's a possibility. The suggestion has been offered that Dallas should consider trading for Atlanta Falcons LB Deion Jones.

Per Bleacher Report

"This is a trade target that has made sense for a while on the field but didn't make a lot of sense on the payroll. That's not the case anymore.

Deion Jones' best days on the field came when Dan Quinn was the head coach with the Atlanta Falcons. He was the head man when Jones finished third in Rookie of the Year voting in 2016 and made the Pro Bowl in 2017.

His play was enough to earn him a four-year $57 million contract in 2019.

Jones is currently on injured reserve with a shoulder injury, but he wasn't placed there until September 1 so he is eligible to return after Week

He could join Leighton Vander Esch and Anthony Barr as veteran linebackers on the team who can allow Micah Parsons to play more as a pass-rusher."

Cowboys fans, any chance you'd like to see Jerry Jones pull the trigger?
