The Dallas Cowboys have once again had their projected roster decimated, this time largely due to a number of suspensions handed out to players' on the defensive side of the ball for Dallas.
As a result the Cowboys are now reportedly calling upon a former veteran to fill the void left on the roster, and according to a report from Mike Garafolo of the NFL Network, it's former Cowboy Justin Durant who is getting the call after spending last season as a member of the Atlanta Falcons.
Garafolo specifically sites that the major suspension to Rolando McClain was a motivating factor behind the Cowboys reaching out to Durant, and with his familiarity with the Cowboys defensive scheme, it's no surprise that his name should make the list.
There's been no deal done, and in fact we don't even know if the two sides are close, but it sounds like there's a real chance Durant is back in a Cowboys uniform next season.
