The Miami Dolphins suspect quarterback Jay Cutler suffered two cracked ribs in Sunday's 31-28 victory over the New York Jets, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Cutler will undergo X-rays as the Dolphins continue to evaluate his injury, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported.
Schefter's source estimates Cutler could be sidelined for two-to-three weeks if he did indeed crack his ribs.
Cutler was injured during a productive game for the 34-year-old, having completed 12 of 16 pass attempts for 138 yards and two touchdowns with one interception. He was replaced by backup Matt Moore.
Moore led the Dolphins' fourth-quarter comeback, throwing two touchdown passes to wide receiver Kenny Stills and setting up Cody Parkey's game-winning 39-yard field goal with 22 seconds remaining.
The Dolphins visit the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday night.
Cutler last made the Pro Bowl in 2008.
