Miami Dolphins star running back Jay Ajayi will reportedly miss a week while he battles a concussion.
Per the Miami Dolphins, the English bulldozer suffered the head injury at practice on Monday.
"The Dolphins were in a two-minute drill and Ajayi caught a pass. Safety T.J. McDonald rallied to the ball and bumped (thudded) Ajayi without taking him to the ground. That is how the concussion happened."
Since last season's coming out party, Ajayi has established himself as a feared AFC ball-runner. Just ask the Buffalo Bills, who twice gave up 200 yards rushing to him.
Ajayi carried the football a career high 262 times and finished fourth in the NFL with 1,272 yards. He piled up eight touchdowns and played all 16 games.
