Report: Steelers could target veteran QB
How would you like to see him behind Kenny Pickett?

Could the Pittsburgh Steelers be on the verge of landing additional quarterback talent?
With the arrival of Arthur Smith in town as the team's new offensive coordinator and the full-time replacement for the terminated Matt Canada, one prevailing theory is that the team could look to add Tennessee Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill, who is expected to hit the open market.
Smith, having previously worked with the Titans and Tannehill, helped the franchise reach the AFC Championship game in 2020. But his having been benched by the Titans this past season is leading to an exit out of town, and he could be considered an intriguing option for the Steelers to serve as backup behind Kenny Pickett, who is expected to retain his starting position in the fall.
The Steelers have also expressed an openness to retaining Mason Rudolph, who stepped in for the injured Kenny Pickett and was able to help the Steelers return to the playoffs, though their stay in the annual tournament was a one-and-done thanks to their setback against the Buffalo Bills.
Would Tannehill signing in Pittsburgh, especially given his connection to Arthur Smith, make sense for the franchise?
