The Seattle Seahawks are reportedly eyeing two star quarterbacks to back Russel Wilson up. Let's just say the competition for the position is going to be interesting.
Head coach Pete Carroll confirmed that both Colin Kaepernick and Robert Griffin III would be backup QB options with his team. He said in an interview with ESPN's "Brock and Salk" that the team is currently struggling with roster and cap issues, but that they are definitely looking at all the options available.
Kaepernick could particularly be a good fit with Seattle since, according to Niners Nation, he and "the Seahawks are familiar with each other as well as multiple players on the team being outwardly supportive of his political stance."
Seattle's former backup QB Trevone Boykin was arrested twice during the offseason, which greatly diminished his chances of playing with the Seahawks again.
