Jeff Heath will be a member of the Dallas Cowboys for many years to come.
According to ESPN's Todd Archer, the Cowboys have reached a long-term agreement with their free safety Jeff Heath. Heath was a restricted free agent received the lowest tender of $1.671 million in early March.
In addition to his normal position of free safety, Heath is a valuable special teams player with the ability to play in the sub packages or develop into a starter.
Heath recorded 25 tackles and two interceptions in 2015. Heath tallied nine starts last season and has played in all but two games for the Cowboys.
