With Cliff Avril being out for the rest of the season and possibly his career the Seahawks have turned to a wily veteran for help on the defensive line.
Freeney played for Atlanta last season and with San Diego and Arizona before that but is best known for his incredible seasons in Indianapolis from 2002 to 2012. He's a 7-time Pro Bowler and a 3-time First Team All-Pro. He won Super Bowl XLI with the Colts over the Bears and has tallied 122.5 sacks in his career. Those 122.5 sacks rank him 18th all time with the potential to move up a few spots with a few sacks as a Seahawk.
Freeney is a sure-fire Hall of Famer.
