Serious injury could force Packers to cut talented player.

A tough decision ahead for Green Bay.

The Green Bay Packers have a ton on their plate this offseason and now they've got one more headache to deal with.

In a recent report from Michael Cohen of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinnel it was revealed that wide receiver Jeff Janis would miss anywhere from four to six weeks recovering from the surgery that was required to repair his fractured right hand.

Janis was expected to compete with Davante Adams for the third wide receiver spot on the team, but now there are serious question about whether or not he will even be a member of the Packers at all when the season begins.

The Packers do have some options if they want to keep him however, they could use their one and only spot on injured reserve with a designation to return, or they could carry the injury Janis on their roster for the first few weeks without having him available.

Only time will tell what the Packers choose to do, but either way it's going to be a tough decision for a franchise already dealing with a number of issues this summer.
