It appears the Steelers may have lost more than just the football game.
Pittsburgh Steelers' linebacker Lawence Timmons was taken to hospital for further evaluation of a leg injury suffered in Sunday's 34-3 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.
The team announced he wouldn't return to the game and that he is dealing with a shin injury. Timmons was able to jog off the field under his own power and into the locker room before leaving the stadium.
He'd tallied 15 tackles in two games coming into Sunday.
The Steelers had stated that the 30-year-old will become a free agent after the season, so any type of injury that would hurt his ability to showcase his talent this season could be devastating.
