Pittsburgh Steelers' fans got some inside information in regards to the team's 2016 'Color Rush' uniforms.

Steelers President Art Rooney II repeated a previous statement that the team will wear their monochromatic uniforms when they play the Baltimore Ravens on December 25. However, he also offered more insight as to what the uni's will look like this season.

“It will be something different,” said Rooney. “The first time we have worn black pants. It will be an all black uniform with gold numbers. I think our fans will enjoy it. It’s something different. It’s going to be interesting to see how it goes.”

The uniforms are designed by Nike and will mostly be worn during Thursday Night Football this season. An exception is being made for the Steelers-Ravens game because it is one of only two games to be played on Christmas Day, something Rooney is very excited about.

“We haven’t had a home game on Christmas in my memory,” Rooney previously said. “It will be unique, special. This will add a little more excitement to what I am sure will be an exciting day.”
