While the Pittsburgh Steelers are confident in quarterback Kenny Pickett moving forward, they're reportedly among the favorites to land another top player at the position.
Former 1st round draft pick Kyler Murray is expected to be able to make his season debut soon after having missed the first half of the campaign recovering from surgery, and the Steelers have been given decent odds to be able to land his services next season.
At BetOnline.ag, the Pittsburgh Steelers currently share 9/1 odds with the Washington Commanders to acquire Murray by the next season. They are behind the New England Patriots (5/1), Tennessee Titans (11/2), New York Giants (6/1), and Atlanta Falcons (7/1) in the odds rankings.
So far in his career, Murray has appeared in 57 games and has thrown for 13,848 yards and 84 touchdowns along with 41 interceptions and 23 rushing touchdowns. He was recently signed to a hefty contract north of $230 million by the Arizona Cardinals, but he's failed to meet the expectations that come with that price tag.
