The Pittsburgh Steelers have raised a few eyebrows this afternoon, releasing starting center Mason Cole after he started every game for the team the last two seasons.
As stated, Cole had started the last 32 games for the Steelers, with whom he signed a three-year deal in 2022. He has one year remaining on his deal. With the move, the Steelers have now freed up $4.75 million in cap space.
He originally played college football at Michigan.
